The Day That Changed My Life Chapter 11 (A Justin Bieber Love Story)

The Day That Changed My Life Chapter 11 (A Justin Bieber Love Story) Destiny's POV: We arrive at my house. I had a great time, and I think Justin and I connected a little bit. He's walking me up to my door. Destiny: "Thanks for teaching me to bowl without the bumpers today. Now I don't have to feel like a loser." We both laugh. Justin: "Aw your welcome. You learn something new every day right?" Destiny: "Yeah, well I guess that saying is true." We laugh again. Justin: "So um." I stand there looking at him with my hoodie in my hands in front of me. He's looking at me. He steps a little closer and puts his right hand on my side. He looks from my eyes, to my lips, and back to my eyes. He bites his bottom lip and leans his head in closer. I start to slowly lean in. Before I knew it, our lips were pressed against each other. On the inside I was going crazy. I've never felt anything like this before. My stomach never had so many butterflies. He releases, but stays close to my face. "Woah." Destiny: I bat my eyes a couple times with my mouth slightly opened. "Yeah." He smiles then leans in again. He moves his lips with mine. He takes his hands, puts one on my cheek and the other on my left side. I put my hands on both his sides. He kisses my top lip then moves to my bottom lip. We do this for about a good minute. We stop again. He looks me deep in the eyes. He bites his bottom lip again and then smiles at me. Now he's holding my face with both hands. He takes a deep breath and ...

Time to Choose the Perfect Watch for Business Wear

People are always looking for different ways to express ourselves in order to stand out from the crowd. The newest and most fashionable trend has been to own a wardrobe of different watches to suit every need. The average guy owns around three to four watches. Fashion experts are expecting that number to double and sales on watches to rise.

They range from models costing many thousands of dollars to fun disposable watches that will only set you back a few bucks. Yet no matter the cost they all serve a variety of functions, from fashion accessory to simple telling what time it is.

Before making a potentially expensive purchase, it is a good idea to know the basics of watch construction since even the best-dressed man can get tripped up when it comes to buying the right one. So here is what you should know when shopping for a new watch.

  • Have an idea where the watch was made. The last thing you want to do is pay a lot of money for an expensive watch only to discover it was made in China. You're doing well the watch you are interested in was made in Switzerland. In order to be considered a "Swiss Watch", it needs to meet certain requirements such where the production and assembly took place. Ask for a full explanation from the seller about the watch's origin before you buy it.

  • Know what powers the watch. You'll quickly discover that nearly all modern watches employ a battery-powered quartz crystal to keep proper time. There are a few stores which still sell old-fashioned mechanical watches which keep time through gears and springs but require periodic servicing. The very best watch companies build their own mechanisms in house instead of out-sourcing it.

  • Inspect the casing of the watch. All of the notable top-quality watch makers use a screw-on back and a screw-down crown to protect the inside of the watch from water and dirt. Some even have a display back that lets you to see this mechanism. Cases are normally made from stainless steel, gold, silver, platinum and titanium since they are a highly durable, yet distinctive, classy look.

  • Make sure there are no external defects with the transparent face that covers the watch such as scratches or cracks. Acrylic is the least expensive and gives you a good shatter resistance considering the price but the sapphire crystals work the best, due to their clarity and scratch resistance.

  • What makes one model better than another when it comes to special features? Some watches use both a digital and an analog face. Others are available in a water-resistant casing for those swimmers out there. If you're big into sports, look into purchasing a chronograph. If you're looking to show off the lottery you just won or that big fat raise your boss gave you, you can buy a watch encrusted in gemstones. Nothing screams look at me like a watch covered in diamonds or otherwise known as bling.

  • The band of the watch should be comfortable and secure. Steel bands give off a clean look and smooth feel making them quite popular and trendy. If you're into an old-fashioned and timeless look, you can't go wrong with a watch that has a leather band.

What's Your Favorite Luxury Large Face Watch?

With all of the watch companies out there flaunting what they have with their large face watch designs, some are more appealing than others. There are plenty of imposters or replicas out there that are made big, whether a large face digital watch or an automatic. What makes a quality line of big face watches for men and women alike?

Looking for a quality watch these days can be quite deceiving. Plenty of brands who produce large format watches showcase design over quality. A solid blend o the these two elements is what embodies a true luxury watch. It's not enough just to have a beautiful watch. Beauty, along with lasting quality is what makes the luxury watch a reality. If you can wear a watch for many decades of your life and pass it down for several generations to enjoy, then you not only have a quality watch, but one that is of great value. This is the basic qualification of a luxury large face watch, although there is more.

From within the multitude of luxury watch brands, there are different levels of luxury. If price is of concern to you when choosing a luxury large face watch, then there are many base models, like in a Tag watch as an example, that you can find at deeply discounted prices. Their Link Calibre S Chronograph is an extraordinary watch of utmost quality that will last you a very long time and can be found for under $2,000.

If you choose to take your luxury watch purchase to the next level, then there are plenty of lines within Tag that offer the "creme de la creme" of parts and craftsmanship. Another favorite type of watch that takes luxury to a very high level is the Maurice Lacroix watch. The Masterpiece Le Chronograph mp7008-pg101-120 can cost around $20,000 and upwards and with it's 45mm case and its bold chronograph design, it exemplifies the best in large face watch designs. Of course, the in-house produced Swiss movement and the limited availability (only 250 world wide) of this watch make is what gives it a high price. The 18 karat Rose Gold is also something that takes this watch's quality (and its price) to a whole different level.

Often you will realize that the luxury level of a watch will go up as more parts of extreme value are added, such as platinum or gold for the case or hands of the watch. It is the fine additions that take luxury...to another level of luxury.

When the luxury of a watch is tuned up a notch or two, then the large face watch design is the perfect choice as it pronounces the beauty and quality of the watch even more.

Movado Men's 604230 Classic Museum Stainless Steel Watch Overview

This ultra-sleek Men's Museum dial watch is the essence of simplicity and style. It features a perfectly round black Museum dial with slender silver-tone hands and a single concave dot at the twelve o'clock position. This is the minimalist look made famous for Movado by American designer Nathan George Horwitt in 1947. Horwitt intended his design to be evocative of a sun dial, with the dot representing the sun at high noon. The black dial is housed in an ultra-thin stainless steel case measuring 31mm wide and framed by a steel bezel with slightly elongated lugs. It presents on a sleek black calfskin strap that tapers slightly toward the ends and fastens with a stainless steel buckle closure. This watch features a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and precise Swiss quartz movement. Water-resistant to 30 meters, it can withstand splashes and brief immersion in water; however, it is not sufficiently resistant for swimming.

About Movado
Movado, one of the most celebrated watch brands in the world, traces its origins to the small village of La Chaux-de-faunds, Switzerland where, in 1881, a young watchmaker named Achille Ditesheim hired six assistants and opened a small workshop. He called his company Movado, a word which means, roughly, "always in motion." The company grew and prospered, evolving from a small pocketwatch manufacturer into a leading innovator and designer of precision wristwatches. Throughout its history, Movado has maintained its place at the pinnacle of innovation and excellence in design, craftsmanship and technology. Movado watches are crafted by highly-skilled watchmakers to meet the exacting standards of Swiss time technology. They are accurate to within seconds a year. All Movado watches are sealed and protected against water, moisture and dust, and individually tested to meet strict international standards of quality. A long-time dedicated supporter of the arts, Movado has, itself, been the recipient of over 200 international awards. Movado watches can now be found in the permanent collections of over 20 museums worldwide.
