Hey Rocky! Watch Me Pull a Rabbit Out of the Hat
I have been watching our Congress in action on C span, and to say its really something, well that's an over statement. I haven't seen that many looks of bewilderment, amazement and pure awe since I performed that disappearing quarter act for the third grade class at Tampa elementary on parents day. And all those intense, grueling and really hard, hard questions that they ask those One World Rule bankers! Golly..Beaver! Do you know how much that billion skill zillion dollars is we gave you? Geeez!
After getting beat up mentally by the special education kid, on the World Nightly News Report, I try and get some sleep because I have to worry about whether I will still be in business tomorrow after working 16 hours. When I finally get home after dark, I find that the paper boy delivered the pulp fiction, so I have my cup o soup, and cup o coffee and begin to read. President Obama is having problems with picking out a dog for his family and he is going to be really, really mad if we don't give the One World Rule bankers, another billion skill-zillion dollars in 24 hours! Geeeez it only makes me wonder what the rest of the ransom note said. I guess I'll have to wait for the commercial to finish to find out.
The special education kid on the World Nightly News has cleared it all up for me. Their too big to fail. Damn! That shows how ignorant I am. Up until he told me that, I thought only God had that privilege! This really has expanded my horizons, tomorrow I'm going over to my competitors store and telling him that "I'm really stressed, don't mess with me! I'm picking out a dog! Now give me all your money! I'm too big to fail!" Shirley, the sales girl is gonna love me when I come back and give her that hundred million dollar bonus! I just haven't figured out just how I'm going to handle all her excitement!
The best part of my week was when the Federal Express (it just has to be official Government) delivered my fair share of the stimulus bill, aka my tax return. I opened it up and I received a plastic sandwich bag with 9 wooden nickels and 2 rubber bux. There was also a note written neatly in green crayon which said; "We owed you 3 cents more so we sent this baseball card." Save all this? Are you crazy? I'm going to splurge and buy that vacation home I've had my eye on. But this windfall still doesn't take away my skeptisim of politics. In fact, I am calling for a full investigation of impostors. Your crazy, you say? Well, go ahead and tell me with a straight face that Barney Frank is not really Sylvester the cat! Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi, Ren and Stimpy for sure! The part that upsets me the most is why would cartoon characters stoop so low?

Orient Men's CFT00005M Power Reserve Semi-Skeleton Orange Automatic Watch Overview
Orient Watch was formally established in July 13th, 1950 in Tokyo. However, the history of Orient Watch really dates back to 1901, when Shogoro Yoshida, the founder of Orient, opened a wholesale watch store in Ueno, Japan. Orient Watch has always focused on mechanical watches, primarily automatic watches with its own in-house automatic movements Orient was once part of the "Big Three" watch companies in Japan along with Citizen and Seiko. In the 70s, when mechanical watch companies faced hardship from the mass introduction of inexpensive quartz watches, Citizen and Seiko took the path of mass producing quartz watches, Orient stuck with what it did best, making mechanical watches. Today, Seiko owns a controlling stake in Orient. Orient, however, continues to make its own mechanical movements. For its quartz models, it uses Seiko's quartz movements. What sets Orient apart from other watch companies is really the fact that Orient has always been focusing on making its mechanical movements better and more reliable. It is unusual today to find a watch company that makes its own movement selling watches at prices offered by Orient. Most of the watch companies that do make in-house movements are big name specialized watch companies such as Patek Philippe whose watches ranges from tens of thousands of dollars to hundreds of thousands of dollars. To find a specialized watch company that uses in-house movements selling its watches at prices that are affordable to most people is truly refreshing.

Men's Watches - History and Current Buying Trends
Time is important to all of us. We live our lives by the clock, literally. Time pieces have been around since the 1400's when mechanical spring powered clocks where first invented. Later around the 1600's, when the technology was miniaturized, pocket watches were invented and became highly fashionable. Not until the 20th century did our modern idea of a "watch" come in to play. Typically one thinks of a watch as a wrist watch, a time keeping device strapped to the arm by means of a band or chain. Though some men still wear pocket watches for their aesthetic charm, wrist watches have dominated the watch industry for nearly a hundred years.
Today there are two main types of watches for men, digital such as sport watches, and analog, typically fashion watches with physical hands and annotated faces. There are also two main types of watch mechanisms (for watches with physical hands), quartz crystal, and spring powered. Quartz crystal watches keeps extremely precise time by means of a tiny crystal and an electrical circuit which produced precisely measured movements. Spring powered watches on the other hand can become extremely inaccurate because they rely on a small coil spring to produce movement. This tiny spring can lose consistency as it is vulnerable to changes in weather and climate and can wear out with extensive use. Most analog watches today rely on quartz crystal because of their precise timing, though spring powered watch are still popular because of their craftsmanship and beauty.
There are a variety of watches on the market today, from high end designs such as Omega and Rolex to athletic brands such as Timex and Seiko. Watches often feature a variety of features, especially sport watches which can often include stopwatches, duel time zones or even GPS uplinks which allow the user to know exactly where they are on the planet. GPS has also become a popular feature in fashion watches which automatically updates the time via a satellite network. A variety of specialty watches are also available to the more adventurous wearer, such as dive watches made by Swiss Army and Citizen Watches. Virtually all watches today include some sort of date function, and many have extra playful features. Modern watch designs can range from the traditional conservative look we all know to neon colours, using modern materials such as plastics and even hemp bands. Watches come in such a variety of choices, colours and designs anyone can find a watch they really love.

Paris Fashion Week 2010 - Big Hair and Bold Makeup
Paris Fashion Week has come and gone! Not to be outdone by the Italian fashion industry, leading Parisian designers unveiled très magnifique collections bolstered by breathtaking sets (à la Karl Lagerfeld's iceberg runway at Chanel). And hairstylists and makeup artists worked their magic to pretty up the statuesque models who attired in the designs in noteworthy looks.
From bodacious buns to theatrical makeup to intensely teased strands to modern takes on classic 'dos, the runways of Paris Fashion Week were filled with head-turning beauty. Read on for the details on four gorgeous (and a few outrageous) trends from over the week in Paris.
Big, Bold Buns: We are definitely fans of a chic chignon -- but the beauty teams at Chanel, Nina Ricci, and Karl Lagerfeld maximized the 'do for the catwalk and paired it with standout makeup including smoky eyes, blonde brows and bright red lips, and strong eyebrows that framed golden lids. To achieve volume at the crown, lead hairstylist Guido Palau for Redken at Nina Ricci, boosted strands with Aerate 08 Bodifying Cream-Mousse and set with Forceful 23 Finishing Spray.
Such a Tease: Heavily, textured hair is a major trend on the fall runways, so it was no surprise when we saw models donning teased tresses at Christian Dior and Comme des Garcons. While the hairstylists at Dior went for a more perfected look accentuated with fishtail braids and berry stained lips, the models at Comme des Garcons wore pastel-colored puffs that reminded us of cotton candy. Their designers gathered luxury Christian Dior Accessories Online Store for the bodacious hair. Fashion Christian Dior accessories and fashion Christian Dior handbags gives the models fashionable type. You can get more Christian Dior new products on Christian Dior Accessories Online Store.
Sideshow Glamour: Let's face it -- there are beauty trends that aren't made for day-to-day wear. But that doesn't take away from the tremendous detail that produces astonishing hair and makeup masterpieces. From the over-the-top pinned curls and "tanned" complexions at John Galliano to the Bantu knots and pale skin at Comme des Garcons to the messy, kohl-rimmed eyes and red pouts at Vivienne Westwood -- Paris Fashion Week served up extreme beauty.
Ladylike Perfection: 'Dos like the flip, ponytail and slickback will never go out of style, and the beauty teams at Chloé, Louis Vuitton, and Balenicaga perfected these retro styles. To create a classic ponytail that complemented the 1950s inspired collection at Louis Vuitton, hair stylist Guido Palau for Redken, curled the ends and concealed the elastic holder by wrapping it with a piece of hair. Glass 01 Smoothing Serum was the key to a sleek finish. Celebrity makeup artist Pat McGrath took the look at Balenciaga up a notch by painting a few models brows a bright, pastel color. To recreate this clean, yet fresh face use CoverGirl Clean Liquid Makeup and Simply Ageless Sculpting Blush in Lush Berry and Plush Peach.

Famous in Film - Jewels From the Big Screen
There is nothing that influences pop culture quite like Hollywood and all of its celebrities. The actors and actresses that grace the big screen influence everything from fashion to language. When all of us "civilian" consumers are looking for the newest trend of the season, we need to look no further than Hollywood. So, it comes as no surprise that sometimes the fashions stars wear in the movies become more famous than the person wearing them. Some of the most famous pieces of jewelry come from the silver screen.
Possibly, the most recognized piece of jewelry comes from the blockbuster smash "Titanic". The Heart of the Ocean necklace that Kate Winslet wears around her neck during that scandalous sketch scene has become almost as famous as the movie itself. The Heart of the Ocean necklace is a huge blue diamond necklace that was fashioned after the Hope Diamond. The actual necklace used in the movie was a cubic zirconium set in white gold. After the movie was released and the necklace became so popular, Fox was commissioned to have a real Heart of the Ocean necklace made. Designers created a 170 carat blue sapphire set in platinum surrounded by about 36 carats of white diamonds. This necklace was sold at a charity auction for Princess Diana. Many other reproductions of the Heart of the Ocean have been made since 1997 and continue to be popular.
Another jewel made popular by the big screen was The Pink Panther diamond which made its first appearance back in 1963. The diamond gets his name because of two unique characteristics. First, the diamond does have a pink tone to it. However, it received its name because there in an imperfection within the stone that resembles a panther when examined closely. The diamond is incredibly valuable and weighs in at about 25 carats. Since appearing in the movies, it was privately owned for about 60 years. In November of 2010 the Pink Panther diamond finally went to auction and brought in about $35 million.
The pearl necklace that Audrey Hepburn wore in the movie "Breakfast at Tiffany's" still remains a pop culture icon to this day. People everywhere still want to own a replica of this famous necklace. The necklace she wore in the movie is a three strand pearl and diamond choker necklace. Necklaces similar to the one Audrey Hepburn wore in the movie continue to be popular with the ongoing trend of statement necklaces. The large flower of diamonds and classic white pearls is a timeless look that will forever be recognized from Hepburn's time on the silver screen.
The movies aren't the only place that jewelry trends are set by celebrities. Famous faces like Jackie Onassis, Marilyn Monroe and Princess Diana have left their stamp on the fashion world for generations. Jackie Onassis was famous for her pearls and even today's First Lady, Michelle Obama follows in her footsteps often seen wearing the classic jewelry. Princess Diana had an impact while she was alive and still remains vital today. The engagement ring she wore while married to Prince Charles is now being replicated by the thousands since the ring was given to the future princess, Kate Middleton. These iconic pieces of jewelry will remain in the hearts of pop culture fans for years with new pieces being added to that collection each year.

A handsome and durable steel link bracelet completes the look. This Omega watch features self-winding Swiss automatic movement enhanced by Omega's breakthrough co-axial escapement, a technology that ensures high precision and stable accuracy over long periods of use. It is rated water resistant to a full 600 meters (or 2000 feet).
The Omega Story
The Omega watch story begins in 1848, when founder Louis Brandt began hand assembling key-wound precision pocket watches from parts supplied by local craftsmen in his principality La Chaux-de-Fonds, in the northwest corner of Switzerland. However, the Omega name didn't appear until 1894, after Louis Brandt had passed away and his watchmaking traditions were taken over by his sons, Louis-Paul and Cesar Brandt. Omega watches have long been associated with glamorous screen and sports stars--the Omega Seamaster is famous for being the watch of choice for James Bond--with current ambassadors including Pierce Brosnan, Nicole Kidman, tennis player Anna Kournikova, and swimmers Michael Phelps and Ian Thorpe.
But Omega is more than just a fashionable watch. In 1965, the Omega Speedmaster chronograph was "flight-qualified by NASA for all manned space missions" as the only wristwatch to have withstood all of the U.S. space agency's severe tests, including passing grades for extreme shocks, vibrations, and temperatures ranging from -18 to +93 degrees Celsius. The greatest moment in the Speedmaster's history was undoubtedly 20 July 1969 at 02:56 GMT, when it recorded man's first steps on the Moon's surface as part of the Apollo 11 mission. Today, Omega is known for its rigorous testing of new movements, cases, and bands. Each new Omega movement is tested on the wrist in existing Omega models, while various laboratory tests are conducted to determine temperature-resistance, shock-resistance and vibration-resistance.

Will Washing My Face Get Rid of Acne? WARNING! 2 Cleansing Facts You Must NOT Ignore!
Are you struggling with acne covered skin? You obviously are not alone......so fret not! Acne problems are NOT confined to childhood or our teenage years...and people of every age, era and ethnicity struggle with pimples throughout their lives.
The BAD news? (as if that wasn't bad enough.....right?)
There is just lots of bad information about what works to CLEAR your acne, and what does not. Cleansers and the optimal frequency for washing our faces are amongst the very TOP of the totem pole when it comes to acne "disinformation", and if you aren't careful, you can easily make your skin worse for sure.
Here are 2 simple cleansing "facts" that many articles and authors get wrong......and how making JUST this one subtle change can offer big benefits to your BEAUTIFUL skin, once and for all.
Here it is.....I'm going to lay it out for you in black and white: Cleaning too MUCH can cause acne. But so TOO can not cleansing enough. So the middle way is best and here it is.
Gently cleanse TWICE a day. No more...no less. Cleaning MORE than twice a day can dry out your skin...and cause your body to produce MORE oil to compensate. (remember.....your body is FAR smarter than the skin solutions we buy at the stores..:-) Glycolic acid, for example....is NOT a good way to treat mild acne, as it can dry out your face so severely....that you can stimulate the secretion of high levels of oil for hydration. (which of course leads to acne AND red, blotchy skin to boot)
This is more advanced, aesthetician style strategy, but trust me......paying attention to the different segments of your skin is smart. Your chin, and forehead should be washed differently, if they are acne prone, than the broad areas of the cheekbones, for example. Gentle cleansers like Cetaphil or Basis are often recommended by Dermatologists, and can be used for the whole face, rather than more localized treatments like Glycolic acid, as above. (which should NOT be applied to non acne prone areas) In other words, the key is to understand that you CAN (and should) wash your face in spots....and cleanse accordingly. (which only means having access to several different products at once.....which every acne sufferer should intuitively know already....I hope!)
